Sawadee Kah and welcome to our wellness center, Buatong Thai Massage, conveniently located in downtown Flensburg since 2009. We are located directly over the jewelry shop Christ, between the Holmpassage and Flensburg Galeria shopping centers, with abundant parking in the surrounding area. Our prime location means you can combine your visit in our center with your daily errands and shopping! We care for your well-being by offering several types of beneficial massage practices, as well as our fish spa and a salt oasis. We invite you to come discover our space and learn about our various wellness services on offer. You will be greeted with a relaxing atmosphere, wonderful herbal aromas, soft music, and the murmur of soft fountains – a mini-vacation for body and soul.

We treat our customers with friendliness, calm and serenity, creating a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere for you during your visit. Our massages are designed to bring you well-being and relaxation and help you leave your hectic everyday life behind. Experience relaxing, stimulating, professional massages of exceptional quality in our relaxing atmosphere. Either as relief from your everyday life or as a little relaxation in between, we help you bring body and mind into harmony. Our whole-body wellness concept helps you to relax the body through special massage techniques, and through regular visits can contribute to your overall health. The body, muscles and tendons are worked, stretched, unwound, relaxed and loosened with different stretching movements, pressure techniques and manipulation styles designed to release tension and improve mobility, creating a state of deep relaxation and regeneration. Regular massage sessions can also serve as a preventive measure for health. Our three excellently trained, experienced massage therapists are also available for short-term appointments with high-quality massages! In addition, after a manual massage, we would like to invite you to a free 20-minute session in our salt oasis, where you can experience and enjoy the positive effects of salty air on your skin and respiratory tract with relaxing music and a wonderful play of lights on the salt walls!

 

For the sake of your health, pay attention not only to price when comparing massage offers, but especially to quality and training standards and certifications, because unfortunately not all Thai massage is the same, as there are no statutory minimum requirements for training! Therefore, caution is advised if a massage center can not offer professional training with proof of training! If the massage center you are comparing does not display training certificates from recognized schools, then they likely have no such certification (if they did, they would display them!). You may receive an unskilled massage from an unskilled therapist, which can also be detrimental to your health. You wouldn’t go to an unskilled “hairdresser” who then chops at your hair – you expect training and quality there! Just as there are quality differences in cars or hotels, reflected in the price, there are also quality differences in massages and ambience. Our manager and chief massage therapist, Ms. Sonyoha-Thomsen, received extensive training at the renowned WatPo Thai Traditional Medical School in Bangkok (see the list in the section Training Certificates), and has had many years experience, together with her employees in Flensburg, offering a unique range of services!

This relaxing mini-vacation is enhanced by soothing music and a wonderful light show on the salt walls and a phosphorescent starry sky. In addition to 5 relaxation loungers, there are also 2 modern massage chairs available that offer a 15-minute back/arm/leg massage for fully clothed customers, with tapping, stretching and vibrating during the salt session. We offer sessions of 20 and 45 minutes.
